It is no secret that Mothers are truly the unsung heroes of today’s families.

The amount of work, errands, tasks, and support mothers do day in and day out is never-ending.

It’s keeping the household and family running.

It’s planning birthday parties and family activities.

It’s running to the grocery store while waiting to pick up the dry cleaning.

It’s making sure the kids and spouse have everything they need… often putting themselves and their health last.

It can feel like an Invisible Burden... an evergrowing weight carried on the shoulders of many moms.

And our society expects mothers to carry this load without question.

What happens when we carry additional weight…?

Our bodies are stressed and challenged in a magnitude of ways that can lead to stress, poor health.

The Invisible Burden can lead to weight gain, constant low energy, hormone imbalance. It can lead to being stretched beyond reach.

What’s worse is that hardworking mothers like you bearing this burden, are often not seen or acknowledged for carrying the contributions and the acts of the family.

If you’re a stay-at-home mom, society often expects you to carry the invisible burden without question. If you’re a working mom, you’re also expected to carry the invisible burden just as much while working to provide an income to your family.

You have so many important things pulling you in different directions that it often means you put yourself… and your health… last.

I’m Dr. Anthony Balduzzi, Founder, and CEO of the Fit Mother Project and the host of this podcast… and I get all of this.

Growing up… my dad died when I was 9 years old… and my mom became a widow with two young boys… and she had to fight to raise us and keep our family together.
I started the Fit Mother Project and created this podcast with the sole purpose of helping create stronger and more powerful mothers through losing weight without restrictive diets, crazy workouts, or the image of “being perfect.”

Our Fit Mother team has helped over 10,000 women become a stronger more fit version of themselves and we know this podcast will help you do the same on your journey to a better you.

You can take care of your family and work… and still make time for yourself and your health.

I’ll show you how XYZ. It’s time for you to put yourself and your health first.

Storing Breast Milk: Tirza Jova of Milk by Mom on the Benefits of Freeze Drying

Storing Breast Milk: Tirza Jova of Milk by Mom on the Benefits of Freeze Drying

Episode 122 is about a method of storing breast milk that isn't well-known among the mom community or many others — freeze drying.
Freeze-drying breast milk is a well-studied, clinically proven alternative to milk storage and transportation that empowers breastfeeding mothers.
In this episode, you’ll meet Tirza Jova, the founder of Milk by Mom LLC, a breast milk freeze-drying service located in Phoenix, AZ.

As a busy mom with two young daughters, she knows the decisions and sacrifices breastfeeding women face because she navigated them daily. Now, she helps educate moms and caregivers nationwide about the convenience and flexibility freeze-drying provides while maintaining breast milk's benefits and security through her freeze-drying business.

Freeze-drying preserves breast milk's nutritional, immunological, and probiotic components. It offers nutrition benefits and convenience by delivering flexibility and peace of mind, and it has a three-year shelf life.

You don’t risk wasting your breast milk or battling for freezer space when you freeze-dry. And whether you have to return to work while breastfeeding, navigate TSA and travel, or have a supply available for other caregivers, your nutritionally dense breast milk is available!

Key Takeaways:Breast milk freeze-drying preserves all the nutrients and antibodies, making it a superior option to traditional freezing. Freeze-dried breast milk offers the convenience of formula while providing the benefits of breast milk. It’s a great option for moms with an oversupply of breast milk, moms with high lipase, and moms who want to have breast milk on hand for travel or other situations. Using freeze-dried breast milk can enhance food caloric content and offer additional benefits beyond the infant years. As a mom and entrepreneur, juggling life requires creating non-negotiables, practicing self-care, and giving oneself grace.

Mental Toughness: Dre Baldwin of Work On Your Game on Building a Bulletproof Mindset

Mental Toughness: Dre Baldwin of Work On Your Game on Building a Bulletproof Mindset

Episode 119 is all about mental toughness and how you can build a bulletproof mindset and achieve any goal you set.
In this episode, you’ll meet Dre Baldwin, the CEO and founder of Work On Your Game Inc., which has helped countless entrepreneurs build their mindset, strategy, and systems.

But his teachings can help you achieve anything and everything you put your mind to!

Dre shares his journey from being a professional basketball player to developing the Work on Your Game framework. The framework consists of four principles: discipline, confidence, mental toughness, and personal initiative.

The first principle, discipline, is about showing up every day and following a structured plan. Confidence is built by borrowing confidence from others, such as envisioning the energy and mindset of a favorite athlete.

Mental toughness is the ability to continue being disciplined and confident even when things don't go according to plan. It serves as a security guard for discipline and confidence, helping you achieve high levels of success.

This conversation explores different ways to become mentally tough, including having a strong work ethic and maintaining a positive mindset. It also highlights the role of faith in mental toughness and the importance of taking personal initiative.

Dre also shares his daily routine and self-care practices, emphasizing the importance of fitness and productivity, and he and Dr. A touch on the impact of technology on mental toughness and the importance of being aware of how social media platforms monetize users' time and attention.

Key Takeaways:Regular check-ins and resets are important for maintaining personal initiative and staying focused on goals. Applying principles of mental toughness to parenting involves instilling values of personal development and personal finance in children. Technology can be both a tool and a stumbling block for mental toughness, and it's important to be intentional about how it is used. A daily routine with self-care practices, such as exercise and meditation, can contribute to mental toughness. Incorporating fitness into daily routines can enhance mental toughness and overall well-being.
